An anniversary couples session in Packwood, WA
Emilia reached out to me for an adventurous couples session with her husband, Greg, as an anniversary present while they were on a weekend getaway to Packwood, WA, a town in the backyard of Rainier and a lesser known pitstop to the park. Those who live in the area, like me, know that the magic of Rainier doesn't stop at the park boundaries. Rivers like the Ohanapecosh and Cowlitz spew outward, enchanting the landscape for hundreds of miles through the state of Washington. Glacial rivers with inspiring colors create a magical backdrop for a photoshoot, especially under the soft natural light we worked with immediately after the sun set behind a nearby peak at 7:45pm. The lighting and location made my job nearly effortless. It is impossible to take bad pictures here.
